will put the ironing board away?
My experience (Hiltons, Doubltrees, HGIs, Hamptons, Marriotts, independent hotels) is that once I take the ironing board out, it stays out until I put it away.
I can't remember that last time I've taken the ironing board out and had housekeeping put it away.
