I've had the platinum card for maybe 4-5 years. at least 20K spend per year. I called to cancel, and the representive I spoke to was rather curt/borderline rude and very defensive. I wasn't offered anything to stay and I was so taken aback by his behavior that before I could say anything, he closed my card. I have the CSR and was only going to keep one of them. I thought I would be cancelling the Chase, but I guess I'm keeping it.
