im not sure about the India traffic either- ORD is one of the few ports that’s Air India serves in NA! And the total flight timing to points beyond DEL isn’t too dissimilar for CX, if 807 departed (&arrived) an hour earlier into HKG (&connected onto a plethora of regional departures ~8PM). AI’s flight itself is a same flight number/1-stop, diff plane service to HYD.

Perhaps, something like -
At least from SIN, an earlier departure would preclude a connection from the early morning flights ex-SIN(not counting the wretched red eye)..bummer for me since our travel tends to be SIN-HKG-JFK//ORD-HKG-SIN, so i’d much rather land @7pm from ORD and connect on to CX715.
