I expect Choice will handle this like any other hotel chain where a property is deflagged:
- reservation will be honored for the rate booked (if a paid stay). If you have a reward stay it will depend on if the property wants to honor the award reservation or not.
- No points will be earned.
- No benefits you thought you would get under the Choice program will likely be honored. The hotel is under no obligation to give you those benefits after they leave the program.
This is commonly they way it is always done. So basically you will get the room you booked for the price you booked it at but nothing more.
