I got Alex's data breach mail earlier today.
Living in Belgium, I called the Amex office in Brussels. They (or at least the agent) were/was not aware of the data breach (yet).
So I referred him to the statement on ba.com and the additional info found on e.g. headforpoints
As a precaution they have blocked my card and I will be issued a new.
I also changed my BAEC password and those of our household accounts.
Case closed I suppose :-)
