Partner Redemption and Flight Cancellations
Not sure if I should post on the Emirates or JAL forum but this makes most sense. I'm booked two Emirates business class tickets using JAL miles for a flight leaving NYC on Mon 9/17. I've been monitoring the forecasts and it appears a hurricane may be bearing down on that date!
I called Emirates regarding what happens in the event of a flight cancellation and they said I would need to contact JAL for rebooking. Does anyone have experience with partner flight cancellations and how JAL handled it? I presume I would be put on the next available Emirates flight in the same class of service.
