What I don't get is how passwords might allegedly be compromised, but only for people who made bookings during that period. Surely logging in to check your account balance transmits your password in exactly the same way as logging in and then making a booking?

I get the credit card bit, but not the passwords... Or is everyone just panic-changing passwords as a precaution?
