But it shows up in MMB just fine, with no obvious errors.

Rather than waste time on the phone I’m just going to assume it’s all OK and just an IT glitch, unless anyone suggests I need to call to resolve anything.

Probably is ok but worth a phone call to avoid panic later. I got the same error message in the week and checked, card hadn’t been debited, Avios hadn’t been debited, inventory still the same so I made the booking again without calling only to find it had been duplicated... you live and learn although all corrected.. if I had heeded advice though.
