--QF11 on Oct 22 seems like, from your post, it would probably still be the scheduled 747 at that time, since no additional 789s will have arrived by then?

QF11/12 going back to daily A380 doesn't require a 787 to happen, just the DFW route dropping to 6 weekly or no planned A380 heavy maintenance.

Looking up the press releases and timetables, the upcoming changes to US flying are:
Sep 1 BNE-LAX-JFK going to daily 787 and 3 weekly 747
Sep 1 MEL-LAX 6 weekly 787 dropping to 2 weekly and new MEL-SFO 4 weekly 787 service starting
Dec 1 3 weekly BNE-LAX 747 going to 4 weekly 787 (11 weekly total)
Dec 4 SYD-LAX returning to daily A380
Dec 7 thru Apr SYD-HNL A330 becomes 747
Dec 17 SYD-SFO to daily 747
Feb 4 SYD-DFW dropping to 6 weekly

LAX becomes 747 free from Dec 1.
