I just had that menu experience on my flight a couple of weeks ago. That menu is the current June-November Hawaii to Western US lunch/dinner menu. For my outbound flight I tried the shrimp dip crostini appetizer and beef stew main dish.
My recommendation is the chuka noodle salad and beef stew. The shrimp dip crostini was delicious, but it was very hard to eat as the shrimp "dip" was more of a scoop of diced shrimp that was very flakey. It needed more of a binder like maybe mayo to keep it together. It would not stay on the crostini as you eat it making a mess. Plus the crostini was very hard so it made the overall dish with the flakiness of the shrimp dip very messy.
The beef stew was absolutely flavorful. One of the best beef dishes I had on HA. I've included some pictures. I try to take pictures of all my inflight meals since I am foodie.
