Not a pilot but a FA. I don’t think potable water is on the MEL because we have a procedure in our handbooks (special PA and extra sani wipes boarded for the lavs) sounds like the FAs followed procedure in this instance. Also, as someone pointed out, the flushing systems are separate from the potable water systems.
