I think Flying for Fun’s argument was that it wasn’t a win for the hotel. But I would disagree, $50 for little effort seems like a win to me so long as the GM is on board. I don’t see anything unethical about no-show meetings, many hotels would still charge if someone planned a legit meeting and no-showed, why shouldn’t they get the benefits if it’s been paid for?
