Leaving BKK - in Transit
Hello,
I'll be transiting through BKK soon and was wondering whether it is possible to leave the international departures area after arrival?
I'll be doing SIN-BKK-NRT on SQ followed by TG.
I'm currently planning on grabbing my BP from TG transfer desk (does this exist?) and checking into the air side transit hotel.
Our layover is quite long, and got me thinking I may want to visit the city after getting some rest. How do I go about leaving BKK at this point.
Side note, I also read somewhere that it's not possible to check through luggage if layover is more than 12hours with TG at BKK. Is this true?
