The call centre at that time of day isn’t the best, but at Heathrow they rerouted me to elsewhere in the US and then United onwards to LAX.
net result of all works is getting in about 4 hours late. Not too bad in the whole scheme of things, but they could have planned the aircraft availability / cancellation a little better!
Thanks for posting this. We are due to travel on this flight in just over 3 weeks and I was interested to know if we would still travel on the day or would have to come back the next day. I don't really want to have to change, but would prefer to arrive on the 1st day as planned.
