Sorry, this is OT but I think I'll get a quick answer in here...
What happens if I miss the first leg of a return journey? Is the rest of the itinerary lost?
Situation is that I have the return PHX-LAX-LHR-OTP. I intended to drive from Vegas to PHX for the first leg at 17.50, but the conference programme has me in Vegas until 10.15am. Should be in the car and driving at 10.30 if I'm smart, but I'm worried about traffic and not arriving at PHX in time.
Alternative is to drive straight to LAX for the 21.05 and skip the PHX-LAX (flights from LAS-PHX don't really work out as I would face a similar uncertain car journey from the hotel to LAS in time for the 12.33).
Booked on AA.com and they've quoted me £500 to switch from PHX to LAS. I forgot to ask them about dropping that leg altogether and driving to LAX - is it feasible?
