I agree that Concourse G is a dump. However I prefer FLL for many reasons even if I have do the drive down to Miami.

Last time I was in EYW and flew with UA, I asked the GA if the flight was only seasonal and he replied that the flights there are supposed to be seasonal, but after the routes were launched, it looked like UA would maintain year round service. And they have. And they have added frequencies. I'm guessing UA will expand the schedule after the snow birding season concludes.

Second, AA dropping IAD marks a general withdrawal from IAD. After MIA goes, AA will only serve CLT, DFW, and LAX from IAD. AA decided long ago that it was concentrate on DCA as opposed to IAD.
