I was wondering when the points post after meeting the spend on a retention offer with American Express specifically for a Platinum Amex? Specifically, if I meet my spend during the statement cycle do they post with the close of that cycle or do I have to wait a period of time say 8-12 weeks after meeting spend or do they post mid-cycle? I know once the points post to my Membership Rewards account they won't be available immediately for redemption since there is a one month lag.
