There are almost 1,000 CI pilots(or about 90% of the airlines pilots) and ~500 BR pilots(roughly 50%). There was very little increase in registration prior to strike.

Last week there was Typhoon Maria, and now a strike to worry about. hayzel7773 - Please continue to keep us informed of developments.
