Yikes. So would it be wise to find the one Citi AA card product that I want to go with and once the bonus miles are awarded, then cancel the original card? So long as I have one open AA earning card I'm fine with doing this; I just want to earn back the miles I just spent on a one-way trans-Atlantic redemption last month. Also, does this affect the Barclay's products as well? Would I be eligible for one new Citi and a Barclay's, each with an AA bonus, or just one-or-the-other?
