Does anyone know for sure if they can/can't use the old card after a straight up 'product switch'? I am thinking since the account number doesn't change, the old card should work until the new card is activated.
I made a reservation a couple days ago with my old card post-product-switch on Hyatt.com, no problem -- later today I will give to them on check-in for the 'authorization hold'. I'll report if my assumption is wrong.
