Yeah, surprised that there's no segment requirement listed anywhere on the website for Platinum 75K. I'm going to guess about 100 segments based on the requirements of normal Platinum. Although to be fair, Pualani Platinum 75K is really just a little footnote on the website itself so its not like their trying to advertise it.
Right, because it's not like they would want their elite program to provide incentives for people to fly them more often.
Kidding aside, I really cannot understand HA's strategy for the elite program. Most of the meaningful benefits are for interisland travel, where it's not like we can choose to fly someone else, while status benefits are laughably uncompetitive on the routes on which they have competition. It's their airline and they get to decide when to be nice to us and when not to, but the incoherence is just aesthetically offensive.
