Has the refund timeline improved at all? I made a reservation on June 25th and cancelled it within an hour of making it. I have a cancellation confirmation email from LH saying that since it was within 24 hours of making the reservation, it will be refunded regardless of the fare conditions. The charge on my AMEX was earlier pending and now it has gotten posted. I have emailed Lufthansa as well as raised a dispute with Amex and have sent them the cancellation confirmation email. The only reason I am asking is because it is close to my statement closing date and I dont want to pay the $1600 out of my pocket in cash.
