Such a terrible process for customers that have been upgraded (AA's elite members). This process sounds broken and the fix that is mentioned is not an actual fix but a work around. There are still a few issues with this -
  1. Passengers have no way of seeing what's available for SDFC
  2. Agent cannot downgrade if Y is full
  3. If I'm downgarded, and the flight I wanted is not available for SDFC, will the agent be able to "reupgrade me"?
  4. Passengers have to call in and cannot do this on the app. Yesterday holds times for the EXP line were 1+ hour.
