Does that mean I can count 2009 as a Gold year, meaning I will have 10 years at Gold/Platinum from 2009-2018? Or because I achieved Gold status in September, am I short by 9 months for the 10 years?
The B7 question is this:
B7. How does a member determine their total number of elite years?
I'm not sure I can further clarify the answer provided, which was: In August, members will be able to view their number of Elite level years to help track their eligibility towards Lifetime Statuses by visiting their My Account page on SPG.com, MarriottRewards.com or TheRitzCarltonRewards.com. <added by Starwood Lurker 25Apr18>

I recently got my first introduction to the system that MR associates are using. Just like with SPG, an MR associate can tell you exactly what you need to earn lifetime status in that program. So, suffice to say, if an MR associate tells you that you need X years earned elite status and X number of points to go, you can pretty much take that to the bank. Same for SPG when it comes to years of elite status earned and elite qualifying nights. Nevertheless, after August you apparently will be able to review this yourself online by going to My Account.

Also wondering if there is any more clarity as to combining SPG and MR nights to achieve Scenario B6d - 750 nights across both programs once they combine in August?
The answer to B6d was: Legacy SPG members OR Legacy MR/RCR members who have 750 nights and 10 years of Platinum Status prior to 12/31/18 will be grandfathered into the new Lifetime Platinum Premier Elite Status. <added by Starwood Lurker 18May18> Can I ask what is lacking that requires any further clarification. Haven't we already resolved everything that has to do with this?

And also Scenario B8 - member with 2MM uncombined lifetime MR points and with 750 combined lifetime MR nights and lifetime SPG nights qualifying for LTPP
Sorry, but B8 is still an open question that I am still awaiting an official answer on from the loyalty team. Until I have one, there won't be an answer.
