Maybe a better strategy would be to book a ticket with the degree of flexibility you require ;-)
ALL the airlines I flew in the past, are allowing free changes & refunds for 2 hour delay / schedule change & some airlines even for a hour, if i book a ticket to arrive at a specific time, I am planning meetings according to the aprox. arrival time, & i don`t expect the airline to change the time by up to 4:45 with no changes allowed, or if i choose a connecting flight with a short connection, i don`t expect to wait up to 4:55 longer.
so next time if i need to fly with AF, should i fly a day earlier to ensure that i will arrive on time for the occasion?
