Yes it's near weekly 4 segments, origin -> hub -> destination and back, at least 2 of the segments are 30-40 minutes, it is not the way to gain award miles.
I know this feeling. I've just been buying up to F where it makes sense. Usually about 50-100 bucks more expensive than stickers each direction, and no question whether or not you get the "upgrade"
Well worth it IMO.
