Just tried to book a one-way, one-day AVP (Scranton, PA) to BDL (Hartford, CT) and United/rentalcar.com comes back with ~USD 1077.00 for an intermediate car!!! (An SUV is ~USD1438.00)
Actual price should be ~USD150.00 or thereabouts.
UPDATE: cleared all cookies, logged in with a USA IP address, and priced were displayed correctly (~USD130 and upward).
For the last couple weeks, I have had 1-way rentals in California, and I cannot get the rate to price anywhere near my corporate rate... Both the UA and the Marriott Hertz deals price 4-10X higher no matter how I search.
