My guess is that POUG would scupper it, but I'm wondering about the people's actual experience, as BA.com does not have any reference to this kind of situation where the booking had already been 'tampered with', so to speak.
If within the first 24 hours from booking you pay to make changes including upgrades or POU you can now cancel under the 24 hour cooling off period and get a full refund including the cost of any changes.
