Glad it went okay. I'm a journalist so even tourist visa applications tend to come in for extra scrutiny; mine had to be approved by Algiers, which took an age, but the staff at the consulate in Acton (!) were very pleasant about it.
And sadly, my Global Entry has been met with a big red X recently; having a holiday in Turkey in the same six month period as a US trip is now highly suspicious apparently.
