I have read recently how some airlines are not allowing some people to board because the name on their ticket doesn't match exactly to the passport.

My son and my self are going to Oktoberfest and his passport has his middle name but his ticket doesn't.

I have been told twice from TAP reps that we will be fine. Should I pay for a change ticket or should I trust customer service?
