A person with 2 nationalities can have 2 different names in each passport (for example a recently married person). One can be used for checkin identification and the other for visa identification purposes. The checkin agent will manually identify the person using 1st passport and then scan into the system the 2nd passport, the visa info and the return ticket info.
I do not think that your example is relevant.
The problem is that the passenger name is very different from that of a passport (or passports), or visa issued, or ETA.
