I know I can use the card itself of day of flight (and actually already used virtual card to get limited "skypriority" treatment the last time I flew), but I want to get some better seat game on. Status seems to be a determinant on that.
True and ideally you also want the Gold status/Sky Priority 'attached' to the QR code so that you can go through security via the dedicated lanes (if applicable at the airport you will be travelling from).
