I’m sorry this has been your experience! I don’t doubt it, but I’ve had flight after flight with amazing cabin crew on AF - they always go above and beyond. It’s a more restrained and less gregarious service - as you’d expect from the cultural differences between the US and France - but it’s always been executed very well and special requests seem to be granted with a smile.
Now AF ground staff - that’s a totally different story, especially in CDG. But CDG is always so chaotic, I don’t necessarily blame them for being a little cranky at work :P
