Thanks for sending a link to the actual report, I couldn't find it and it helps to read the real thing. I maintain their methods are dumb. They specifically measured "Saver-style rewards require the minimum number of miles (or points) and are limited in supply".

Do I really care if there's no 5k award on my route when I can get a 7.5k award? No.
