That's all part of published benefits. I thought miamiflyer8's point was the arrival aspect, i.e., getting access without an onward flight (which is nominally required). In the ORD example presumably there was an onward flight (to get back through security) but it doesn't sound like miamiflyer8 was asked about it at the FL.
My point was indeed that I have gotten in on a sole domestic itinerary on arrival to an Admirals Club.
Absolutely, I was connecting to ATL on the same PNR in F (not that it matters) and wasn't asked about a connection at all. So presumably I could've flown Spirit from T3 and still got into the FL with my incoming bp.
