A friend of mine just flew on a newly Polaris'd 772. Apparently UA has forgone the Priestman Goode bulkhead branding on the new aircraft. The front bulkhead is plain gray vs the gold globe sweep metaphor we see on the 77W and new 767 retrofits, and the rear bulkhead has a thin "United" branding element along the bottom vs the United plate akin to what we see at the boarding door of the 77W.
I quite liked the branding elements introduced on the 77W (and present on the 767 retrofits). Why the change?
Could be because that 777 is going to be retrofitted again to add premium economy, and the bulkheads will likely shift then?
