Does this mean that I need to find a website that will only show/accept one currency for a hotel booking and that has to be the same currency as the IHG website? The website is displaying and charging me in USD and will only show other currencies around the world if I change it.
Many OTA sites can be set to display searched for rooms in multiple currency's.

Under IHG BPG t+c's, it is actually the currency the OTA bills your CC that must be same as the currency same hotel on IHG.COM is booked under, which in many cases is different from displayed currency and wheb booking it is rare thst OTA gives one control to choose a preferred payment currency.
