You can email the hotel in advance and ask about paying a surcharge to guarantee a harbor view room or a suite (which has both harbor and peak views). I've done this in the past when I wanted to be sure to get a suite. Since the room itself is on points, I don't mind paying a surcharge for a guaranteed upgrade to an ideal room.
