Finally been able to jump on one of these fares and I'm pretty thrilled - thanks for all the ground work! Who first wanted to travel from Jersey to Portland and back, but only back as far as London? £1,103 for 680 tps will renew my gold for another year, which will be very, very handy given the year I have in prospect.
Will also get to experience the new Club service, the new JFK flagship lounge, can have dinner in the QF lounge in LAX before experiencing the transcon - business rather than first sadly but it should still be interesting. Then a day flight home from JFK, which I've never previously done. Add in lunch in Jersey and three quarters of a day in Portland, and I'm very happy.
