Pilot37 for pointing out possible PDX routings. After messing around in ITA Matrix for two nights (was toying with a LAS layover originally to go to a show or something), I went and booked this one for max TPs instead (640 of 'em).
Avoids the LGW-LHR morning rush (doing it the night before).
Means taking the BA JFK-LHR day flight, which I've never done before, and should be good in CW.
If the 50m PDX-LAX connection goes wrong there's always an overnighter in LAX possible, or LAX-LHR direct leaves later as a backup I s'pose.
Should be a fun Fri-Sun in Portland! Now to find the top tips thread...
