That's not how I read the post. The original poster may very well be a new AC employee. And should be able to check loads with the internal tools available on the Employee Travel portal. So basically the question being posted to FT'ers is "how full have your YYC-NRT flights been in the summer".
Of course, the usual risks of employee standby travel always apply. And discussing actual load data on FT as someone with access is a sure-fire way to attract negative attention of AC's security people. But anecdotal experiences can be useful.
