Not a particularly useful reply to the OP's issue, but I feel I should defend Expedia somewhat. Booked 10+ bundle deals and half a dozen flights through them and each time it has been perfect and the prices were significantly better than elsewhere. Guess you were just unfortunate - hope it gets resolved.
of course, if nothing goes wrong it’s fine, but if you have to contact he customer service it’s infuriating. They’re almost as bad as British airways.....
