Interesting! I'm trying to think if I've ever run across this situation, and I can't remember if I have. One question, though: Isn't the "
same day" that's mentioned in your quote going to be a problem? Flying from USA to HKG, the BP will not be from the same day (because you will have departed the day before). I don't know if I'm just reading too much into that.
