I'm no expert at reading wind aloft forecasts, but looks like there might be some large headwinds on the route the next couple days. Probably a refuel stop before running the TPAC sector. FWIW, looks like CX has been running the JFK-HKG route going East which is ~250 miles longer for them than going west, would seem that the winds are more than normal.
