I live near CAK, so Cleveland is an hour away and PIT around 1:15-1:30.

The problem with CLE is it’s a much slower airport to navigate. If picking up or dropping off a rental car, CLE involves driving a few extra miles and a bus ride. PIT means a brief walk from short term parking. CLE has a long walk almost worthy of IAD to United’s gates. PIT has a speedy train with United’s gates near the centre of the midfield terminal.

Going back on topic, the CRJ200 flights seem to be consistently staged a little longer than PIT’s ERJ175s and ERJ170s. PIT is also slightly closer to IAD, EWR, and IAH. The same destination like IAD, EWR, or IAH is consistently 10-20 minutes less block time from PIT.

CAK is supposed to get IAH flights in July on the ERJ-145. Dreading that it will end up being a CRJ200.
