Guys,
I used the JFK-PHX-JFK AA flight cancellations, to re-hang my itinerary a little (essentially just to get in and out of LHR quicker, so I can make the earlier JFK-PHX flight and get to PHX at 19:19 instead of 22:59). I also tried to tighten up the LHR-HEL-LHR 'shuffle' so I could take the morning OTP-LHR flight back on Tue 26-Aug and use one less day's holiday ... but presently no joy as BA want GBP280 to change the fare. I may just turn up to the airport early and see if they will put me on the morning flight, if not I will kick around Bucharest for the day before meeting @
