It's extremely rare to be downgraded on a 241 and I personally wouldn't worry about it. LAX flight loads change a lot as I have flown this route many a time and no doubt it will change again and within the few days before and on the day itself.

Thanks Peter I won’t worry too much, there are plenty of other ways to get there in F.

i did find it surprising that last week they were selling F on this service for £3k with only a few seats left vs £4.5k for the other flights the same day which have way more seats to sell.
