That assumes that (a) the relevant gate area is not already being used for the next departure of the aircraft; and (b) someone will pay for the additional staffing costs to have pax following two separate streams, together with reliable BP checking of those who are being allowed into the transit route before they fully enter the building, which would be consistent with normal requirements.
Does anyone have actual numbers for how many pax this actually affects?
