Hyatt Prive RE-launch - All Prive POSTS HERE PLEASE

Hi all - not sure if this has been discussed here (did a search, couldn´t find anything, so if mods want to move this ´that´s obviously OK).

Hyatt Prive has been relaunched after it was essentially dead-on-arrival in 2013.

There are now 146 participating hotels, all of which would be considered ´luxury´ properties by most standards.

Prive amenities are included on any BAR rate booked by a PRIVE agent. For most agents out there, simple hotel bookings are a complimentary service, so it may make sense for any consumer to go this route, regardless of status.

Included amenities:

· Guest welcome letter and Welcome amenity

· Early check-in/out, connecting room (if required) and room upgrade - confirmed within 24-hours after requesting it (these requests given priority above all other rate codes)

· Full breakfast for Two

· Property Credits from $50 to $100 per stay, varies by hotel

You´ll also get a response to any special benefits requests within 24 hours, by rule.

Participating brands include: Park Hyatt, Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, Andaz, Unbound Collection

Amenities can be stacked with Hyatt status, you´ll still receive your points and any promo/bonus you may be enrolled in, and your status is still recognized. In other words - again - Prive and status = entirely stackable.

Many of you diamonds will likely say ´I get most of this stuff already via status´ - which is categorically true. That said, if the rate makes sense, the property credit alone makes a Prive rate worthwile. Furthermore, the upgrade is a killer perk, as it should save you having to use a suite upgrade cert. in many cases.

Just an FYI for all you Hyatt junkies out there
