Considering the manner in which I structured my question, I suggest you go back and read it again.
What I do know is that Thailand has a long standing practice of dual pricing for a wide array of goods and services. I am also aware that the use of "preferred" agents is a long standing practice in some countries. Those preferred agents get access to special "sale" prices. I don't know if the practice is ongoing in Thailand. Are you able to say it does not occur?
You know all those VIPs who show up on flights that some people assume are flying for free? Well I was previously told they they were not flying for "free". They can however, access special discount fares. Now, if someone were to ask why so many people have access to special fares, I believe it would be a reasonable question. Unless you are able to confirm that there are no special fares and upgrade opportunities for some pax.
